Skills4Circularity

Project name
UPSKILLING AND RESKILLING THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY SECTOR TO FACE THE CHALLENGES IN RECYCLING, TRACEABILITY AND CERTIFICATION OF RECYCLED PRODUCTS
Project acronym
Skills4Circularity
Project number
101243978, Výzva I3-2023-Cap2b
Duration of the project
1.11.20025 – 30.10.2029

Project objectives:
The main objective of the project is to supplement the knowledge of workers in the European textile industry. The reason for this is that this sector must change rapidly and become more sustainable and digitally modern. However, companies lack people who are familiar with, for example, eco-design and circular business models. This program is designed to provide a wide range of courses for people at all levels—from workers and technicians (EQF levels 3 to 5) to engineers and managers (EQF levels 6 to 8). Training will take place through innovative, modular programs such as online courses (MOOCs), intensive practical workshops (boot camps), and interregional competitions (hackathons).

The kick-off meeting took place in November 2025, and now we need members to help us map out short-term and long-term needs in education.

Consortium
The project is being implemented as part of cooperation between 21 partners from 10 EU member states and Turkey. The Czech Republic is represented by CLUTEX – Technical Textiles Cluster (Czechia) and the Technical University of Liberec.
