TECHTEXTIL: CLUTEX Joint Exhibition Showcases the Strength of Czech Technical Textiles

The international trade fair TECHTEXTIL has long been one of the most important industry events focused on technical textiles and nonwovens. For the CLUTEX cluster, this event represents a key platform for presenting the Czech textile industry in an international context, as well as an opportunity to develop both business and research partnerships.

CLUTEX organizes a joint exhibition that brings together companies, research organizations, and academia, showcasing their innovations within a unified and representative framework.

This marks our tenth (jubilee) participation at Techtextil during our twenty years of existence. This continuity is one of the cluster’s greatest strengths—connection, knowledge sharing, and joint growth. Within the international textile community, CLUTEX is perceived as an integral part of it.

The results of joint research and development activities will be presented at the stand by representatives of participating organizations, such as GF Machinery s.r.o., Sintex a.s., TUL – Faculty of Textiles, VÚB a.s., VÚTS a.s., the University of West Bohemia – Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Textile Testing Institute, and others.

A new feature of this year’s edition is the expansion of the exhibition with a separate meeting area. As the capacity of the main island stand (170 m²) no longer allowed further expansion, an additional 12 m² stand has been secured in its immediate vicinity. This space is primarily intended for business meetings, partner discussions, and more focused conversations on specific projects and collaborations.

The joint participation at TECHTEXTIL continues to confirm the importance of the CLUTEX cluster as a platform connecting industry, research, and education. At the same time, it strengthens the international visibility of Czech technical textiles and supports their further development in the global environment.
