Support for research and innovation
Membership in the CLUTEX cluster provides companies with a strong background for the development of research and innovation activities. We actively create an environment in which member organisations can more easily develop their ideas, find suitable partners and obtain the necessary financial resources.
Mapping Needs, Seeking Opportunities
Based on regular communication with members, we identify their current research goals and technology challenges. We then link these needs to appropriate calls from national and international innovation support programmes. We support members from the very beginning – from the formulation of the project idea through the preparation of the application to the actual implementation and final evaluation.
Connecting with foreign partners
Thanks to an international network of cooperating organisations, we connect our members to foreign partners, research institutions and clusters. Together, they form strong consortia with a greater chance of success in European and international programme calls.
Experience and results
We have experience with a number of R&D support programmes. We provide consultation on project documentation, help with monitoring and communication with funders. We are available to members as a “friend on the phone” at any time during the solution process. We actively monitor project opportunities and offer them to members as concrete opportunities for their further development.
Promotion of the field
We speak with the voice of the industry. One of the key benefits of membership in the CLUTEX cluster is the systematic support for the promotion of technical textiles and related fields. We believe that innovation and quality products deserve visibility – and we help our members to achieve this in a targeted and effective way.
Joint participation in key events
CLUTEX regularly ensures participation in important trade fairs, conferences and specialized events. Members have the opportunity to exhibit their products on the CLUTEX stand and thus present themselves in a strong, professional context. Typical examples are the joint exhibition at the international Techtextil trade fair in Frankfurt, where the cluster has long had a representative 200 m² stand, or the STYL&KABO trade fair in Brno.
We organize and co-organize professional events
We participate in the organization of specialized conferences TEXWASTE and TEXCHEM – Regiotex, workshops and other professional meetings. Members have the opportunity to act as speakers, present their technologies or establish new business contacts. These events are an ideal platform for building professional reputation.
Online and offline visibility
We also regularly raise the visibility of cluster members through our communication channels – websites, newsletters, professional articles or LinkedIn profiles. We help them get their stories, products and successes out there.
Building sectoral infrastructure
Without a modern technical background, it is not possible to keep up with market demands or develop innovations in the long term. In the CLUTEX cluster we are fully aware of this fact – that is why we are actively building an infrastructure together with our members that strengthens the competitiveness of the entire technical textiles industry.
Technological background for company development
Together with member organisations, we identify key needs in the areas of machinery, measurement, testing and digital tools. We support the purchase of modern equipment that enables companies to produce better quality, more efficiently and with higher added value.
Promoting shared use of technology
Under the project conditions, we help create conditions for shared access to instruments and equipment – for example, measuring equipment, test equipment or laboratory technology. In this way, even smaller companies can use state-of-the-art infrastructure without having to make their own investments.
Testing and Certification Facilities
We support the development of analytical and testing capabilities across our membership. This includes not only physical laboratory facilities, but also methodology development and collaboration with research institutions. Our goal is for the industry to have the capacity to test, validate and certify products right here in the Czech Republic.
Networking
During its existence, CLUTEX has built an extensive network of relationships with companies, research organisations and institutions – in the Czech Republic and across Europe. As a result, it is a sought-after partner for international cooperation and members have access to proven contacts that they can use for their project or business plans.
