Final meeting of ADDTEX partners – evaluation of outputs and discussion on new challenges

The three-year international project ADDTEX, focusing on innovative methods of education and training of professionals for the modern textile industry, completed its planned tasks at the end of June and twelve partners representing ten countries were able to meet at the final 25. and 26 June 2025 in Terrassa, Spain, to discuss the experience of the project, feedback from the students and companies involved and inspiration for the future.

Overall, the partners evaluated the project as challenging, ambitious and complex, thanks to the professional approach, friendly cooperation and quality coordination of the main partner, the Textils CAT cluster, as successful and beneficial, also with outputs that can be used after the end of the project.

The final conference featured a panel discussion on “Talents for Textiles and Innovation”, recommendations from the companies involved in the project, inspiring information about the thematic platforms and the offer of the innovation hubs DigitX, SmartX and GreenX of the European Textile Platform ETP. The subsequent informal networking was a pleasant end to the whole meeting.
