CLUTEX impressed at the STYL fair in Brno

After a two-year break, CLUTEX – the technical textiles cluster – returned to the STYL/KABO fashion and footwear fair in Brno. Its exhibition attracted visitors with innovative technologies from the textile and clothing industry. Visitors had the opportunity to meet with representatives of member companies and see products that are used on world markets.

“Our aim is not only to showcase our members, but also to show the general public that the textile industry has huge potential. In the ‘What Textiles Can Do’ exhibition we wanted to show people where they can encounter modern textiles,” says Miloš Beran, CLUTEX manager.

STYL/KABO remains an important platform for the professional public and its importance is growing. “The fair has gained new dynamics in recent years. Not only the number of exhibitors is growing, but also the number of visitors. This is significantly helped by the quality of the accompanying programme, such as the Young Top Style Designer competition, which attracts the younger generation,” adds Beran.

The media attention was also attracted by well-known personalities – make-up artist and influencer Klára Klempířová or Vogue editor Natálie Debnárová, who appreciated the technological innovations in the CLUTEX exhibition.

The stand presented products and services of member companies such as SCILIF s.r.o., SOTEX GINETEX CZ, z.s., Secondary Industrial School and Higher Vocational School, Liberec, Technical University in Liberec, TZÚ, s.p., VÚB a.s., VÚTS, a.s. and others. The design solution of the exposition aroused interest and underlined the innovative character of the exhibited products.

Participation in the fair was a great opportunity for CLUTEX and its members to establish new contacts and to introduce the world of technical textiles to the young generation, which was represented in large numbers at this year’s event. An example is the Secondary School of Industry and Higher Vocational School, Liberec, which brought its students to the fair to show them the future of the textile industry in practice.
