The cluster received another award – Business Project of the Year for ENAMEL

At a gala evening on 7 November 2024 in the historic Sacre Coeur Chapel in Prague, the Ministry of Industry and Trade together with the Agency for Enterprise and Innovation awarded successful entrepreneurs from all over the Czech Republic in the prestigious Business Project of the Year competition. In total, there were twelve projects implemented under the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness (OP PIK), including ENAMEL – our project from the category Cooperation – Clusters – Collective Research, which is funded by the CORNET programme. The awards were accepted on behalf of CLUTEX by the President Ing. Libuše Fouňová and cluster manager Ing. Miloš Beran.

The project connects 4 organisations:

• Fraunhofer IZM Berlin
• Hochschule Niederrhein / University of Applied Sciences Krefeld
• University of West Bohemia in Pilsen
• VÚB a.s. Ústí nad Orlicí

The project addresses pre-commercial research and development of new technologies for encapsulation and encapsulation of e-textile systems directly integrated into textiles and textile products.

It is now halfway through its solution, which will result in three applied functional sample results by the end of 2025.
